Advent Prayer Star is an interactive prayer activity which is available as an individual download or as a part of Advent in a Box Edition 4. This activity will guide you through the steps of building your own Moravian star and challenge you to pray throughout the season of Advent for people and situations that are in need of the light of Christ.
The Advent Prayer Star is an interactive prayer activity that families or individuals can work on throughout the Advent season. Each day during Advent your will be prompted to pray for others, read a Scripture passage and add a point to your star. Don’t be concerned about how complicated the completed star looks. If you can fold paper, you can build this star using our detailed instructions!
Purchase of this download gives your church permission to print and distribute these materials within your church community. The download includes links to the needed supplies which can be purchased on Amazon. The cost to create each packet is around $1.30 depending on how many packets you create. You will need to print the materials, buy the supplies, and create your packets for distribution. Everything a family will need to do the activity will be in the packet (aside from normal household supplies like markers and tape).
** Do not purchase this download if your church is using Advent in a Box Edition 4. This prayer activity is included in that download. This download is intended for churches who only want to use the Prayer Star Activity and not the other hands on activities included in Advent in a Box Edition 4.
