This Advent download is a fun and simple way to partner with families and help them celebrate Advent and prepare for Christmas. This download includes templates and detailed instructions to create your own Vellum Advent Candles. Also included in the download is links to purchase needed supplies, a family Advent candle lighting liturgy and 4 Talking About Devotions that focus on the Advent themes of Hope, Joy, Peace and Love.

Use this resource of all-age devotions and activities to create Advent kits that you send home with your families. We have created the devotions and activities for your church. You will need to print the materials, buy the supplies, and create your kits. Everything a family will need to do the activities will be in the kit (aside from normal household supplies like markers and tape).

Scope and Sequence:

• Advent Week 1: Hope (Romans 15:4, Psalm 147:10-11)
• Advent Week 2: Joy (Luke 2:8-12)
• Advent Week 3: Peace (Luke 2:13-14, Colossians 3:15, Psalm 119:165)
